Well this has to be shocker of the century! How about they just pull one of the hundreds of coaches in the stands?

    Re: pound coach resigned

As long as they include "members of the community" sitting in on their coaching interviews, the situation in Pound will never change.. That has to be the craziest shiz I've ever been witness to. All ya have to do to understand the situation in Pound is attend one of their P-Nut Football games. Maybe Rocky can find 'em somebody to volunteer to coach 'em for free..haha
...And if you ain't down with that, I got 2 words for ya....

Pound should just cancel their entire football program. Maybe replace it with badminton.

They may have to cancel it. No teaching jobs available and when they hired Crabtree nobody else wanted it. Maybe ol' Rock will coach em and bring home that state title he said they should have had in the last 6 years.

I think CJ Johnson should be given a chance. Get some youth in the program.

    Re: pound coach resigned

If CJ is interested, it would be awesome for Pounds program.
He was a great athlete there, and he could relate to the kids, not the old Varisty Blues HS football coach, but a young guy, who was a great athlete, that can relate to being young and living in Pound.

I dunno about his football x's and o's, hes never coached anywhere, has he?

He used to post here, wonder what happened to him, he was always a super cool guy

This may be a good idea but if the community is allowed to be involved in the programs and have a say so of who coaches and who doesn't it doesnt matter who does it.

    Re: pound coach resigned

what pound needs is somebody to come in and man up and tell the parents to stay in the stands. they have never had a decent weightlifting program that i know of. maybe a few show up here and there and it should be required. somebody needs to come in and clean house and teach the kids dedication. i think the best person for this job would be somebody that has no connection to pound or its school in the past. somebody with a clean slate that can incorporate a decent program in their own way and if the parents dont like it tough crap, there kid can go home or sit the bench
Cant we all just get along?
